Our distribution channels

Our network of walk-in retail outlets covers an expansive footprint across the region. We also place retail units within other stores by way of a 'shop-in-shop' concept. Additionally, we maintain long-standing relationships with most of the prominent mobile service providers, incentivising sales of our devices by volume and providing stock on consignment for their outlets. Our successful partner initiatives have involved Vodacom, Airtel, Zain, Orange, Zantel, Warid and many more. The high end corporate deals we offer large businesses, in conjunction with these operators, have thrived throughout all of our markets.

Outstanding after sales care

At MiDCOM, we provide a high quality after-sales service which covers handset repairs falling under customer warranty. Our Level 2 and 3 Nokia-authorised customer care centres are equipped with state-of-the art diagnostic and restoration equipment, handling the most sophisticated repairs down to component level. They are capable of executing lead-free, BGA soldering and chip replacement procedures on all Nokia mobile handsets.

More than just world class handsets

Both MiDCOM centres boasts of extensive spare parts and accessory catalogues. In fact, our Ugandan centre is the only outlet in the country providing authentic spare parts for all Nokia devices. Our easily accessible Level 1 centres offer collection points for customers in all major towns, in which faulty Nokia handsets may be dropped off and collected within a reduced turnaround time. Besides repairs and troubleshooting, these authorised customer care centres also handle customer handset upgrades. Our employees at each service centre pride themselves in their reliable, timely service. They have undergone comprehensive training, meaning they are empowered to address each customer’s needs and deliver a solution with utmost integrity. Another step towards providing the best possible customer service has been the introduction of a toll free helpline.

Our Nokia showrooms cater to individual, corporate of wholesale customers. The showroom employees conduct demonstrations to familiarise customers with the functionalities of each handset or accessory.
