We are pleased to announce that Pearl Dairy is now ISO 9001:2008, ISO 22000:2005 and HACCP certified for its excellent quality management system. The achievement is one we are particularly proud of as it demonstrates our commitment in providing highest quality of dairy products and further establishes Pearl Dairy as one of the leaders in milk processing technology in Africa and the middle-east. The ISO certification is a significant milestone in our continual efforts to improve and reflects in our on-going investment in technology, development and process maturity.

The ISO is a family of standards for quality management systems and is designed to help organizations ensure that they meet the needs of customers and employees. Pearl Dairy certification of compliance recognizes that our policies, practices and procedures ensure consistent quality of dairy products that we manufacture and deliver it to our clients. The ISO and HACCP certifications are a testament that we at Pearl Dairy are committed in providing families with healthy, nutritious and superior quality of dairy products.

Our journey towards achieving quality assurance certifications started in November 2013. We were very keen from the outset to ensure that the ISO framework was used to bring genuine value and best manufacturing practices, rather than focusing on the accreditation for accreditation’s sake. Before presenting ourselves to the certification agency (in our case IQ Net, an accredited registrar) hours of work and preparation were undertaken, internal policies and processes aligned with ISO standards, employees trained and internal audits completed.

The ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 22000:2005 applies to all facets of our business. Producing quality dairy products is a key priority for us at Pearl Dairy and the ISO and HACCP accreditation shows just how far we’ll go to ensure the best quality of work for all of our consumers and we’re proud of what we’ve achieved.
